Velo Angel Revo 3D Saddle Review

The Velo Angel Revo 3D is a lightweight and performance driven road and gravel saddle designed to push comfort and pedaling efficiency further than ever. Retailing at $210, it takes the proven Angel Revo platform and layers in new technology, most notably its 3D printed Atmos cover. At just 273 g, it blends advanced pressure relief, sustainable materials, and lightweight titanium rails in a sleek 148 mm profile.
This saddle is built for cyclists who demand all-day comfort without compromising stiffness or style. We tested this saddle on long days with a mix of gravel, double track, pavement, and single track. We came away a total believer in this saddle platform and were surprised and just how comfortable it was.
We picked this saddle up to be our main bikepacking saddle. Our riding includes efforts in the Moab area as well as our home in mountainous Southwest Colorado. We needed something that could remain comfortable for long days and not leave us dreading getting back on the saddle. Looks like we found that answer in this Velo saddle.

Unique Features of the Velo Angel Revo 3D
Atmos 3D Printed Cover
The highlight feature is Velo’s Atmos 3D printed layered cover, which can be strategically tuned for support, balance, and efficiency. The 3D printing process allows this saddle to be more fine tuned than competing products. Your butt doesn't think it's just a gimmick.
Y-Cut Pressure Relief
Velo’s patented Y-Cutout design runs longer than in previous Angel saddles, relieving perineal pressure and promoting better airflow, an upgrade you’ll notice after back to back long days such as while bikepacking.

The extended Y-Cut provides real relief during long efforts.
Sustainable EuphoraBase Shell
Instead of petroleum-based plastics, the Angel Revo 3D uses Velo’s EuphoraBase: a hybrid bio-plastic reinforced with glass fiber. It’s a nod to sustainability without giving up stiffness and durability. It also looks wild. This saddle has a visual appeal that is all its own.
Titanium Rails
Lightweight titanium rails provide shock absorption and strength, keeping the saddle stiff but forgiving over rough terrain. For all the gram counters out there this should be a hit. While it is by no means the lightest saddle out there you'll get shaving some grams and adding loads of comfort.
Who is Velo?
Founded in 1979, Velo has become one of the world’s leading saddle makers by focusing on innovation, rider fit, and sustainability. Their Angel series in particular is aimed at performance athletes looking for ergonomic relief and modern design. The Angel Revo 3D is a natural evolution of this ethos: combining tech-forward features with eco-conscious materials.
Closing Thoughts
The Velo Angel Revo 3D is more than just a saddle upgrade—it’s a thoughtful reimagining of comfort, performance, and sustainability for serious riders. If you’ve been chasing long-ride relief without sacrificing stiffness and responsiveness, this saddle may just be your new go-to.
