Electric Bikes Are Awesome

E-bikes have been around for a while now and there evolution has been pretty fun to watch. They started off with somewhat goofy designs that most wouldn't be caught dead riding but they have since shrunk down, gotten sleeker, and offer a lot more range. We'll admit, we used to scoff at them, but the times have changed. Here's just a few reasons why we here at Biking West love e-bikes:

1. They're fun as hell. I dare you to not have fun cruising up gnarly 4x4 tracks in full pedal assist mode. I dare you.
2. They make riding more accessible. We love sharing days in the saddle with friends and family who wouldn't otherwise get out to ride.
3. More butts on bikes. Some people would ride to work if they didn't have to get all sweaty. This is where the e-bike really shines. These bikes can create a whole new class of commuters.
